I've got the chance to buy a used Canon 28-70mm L, year 2000 manufacture. It's in very good condition and seems to be working well. Wondered how it would fare against more modern Canon L lenses on a 5D II or III - thinking of the original 24-70, 24-105 or the upcoming 24-70 f4. Appreciate that the new 24-70 Mk II beats all.
In where I live I can get a second hand EF 16-35 f/4L IS under USD$600, while the RF 14-35 would cost me over USD$1900, which is more than what I paid for the RF 15-35. The closest alternative to the RF 15-35, the EF 16-35 f/2.8L III USM, is a fraction cheaper than the RF alternative. The Canon RF 70-200mm f2.8 L USM is a lighter, more affordable alternative to the 70-200mm f2.8. The lens delivers pro-level sharpness and a lack of aberration. It naturally doesn’t have quiteu5X7.
