Citroen Pneumatic Suspension [C4 Picasso C4 Grand Picasso] There is much talk about this problem. No doubt you have already trawled the net for a glimmer of hope - like many others, to little avail. The pneumatic system as employed by PSA on these vehicles is sadly fraught with problems.
First step was to replace the brake switch, but to no effect. Second step was to remove fuse one from the engine bay panel (BSI), scrape the holder blades and clean the tarnish off the fuse. That seems to have fixed it. Despite the box having a tight cover there was a lot of dark grey dust in it.
I took it to the Citroen garage and they "reset" the software, but this did not resolve the fault. I read elsewhere on the forum that the reset needs to be done when the car is cold. So I brought it back to Citroen and they said they loaded "new" software (but they still did it while the car was warm despite my concern). My car is now worse!

On this car there is an annoying problem: there is no warning for driver's unfastened seatbelt: passenger's one works flawlessly. I have a C4 Grand Picasso (2008) and have a problem with the seatbelt warning. When driving along and I go over a pothole or bump in the road, the seatbelt warning indicator will come on. It is always for the same location - the nearside rear seat which is one of the two that can be collapsed to give larger bootspace.
