The EOS 6D Mark II has built-in Wi-Fi and NFC capability, providing easy transfer of images and movies to compatible mobile devices using Canon's free Camera Connect app (iOS | Android). With lots of potential awaiting development, this app provides some remote control of the camera's settings and shutter when shooting still images. Looked at all I could find but my 6D is showing different options. Thanks to Suzi at Intrepid Freelance what I'm supposed to see: But what I see on my 6D: Soooooo - no matter what I've tried no way to get WiFi to work or connect. Also tried several times using Canon Connect app on my Galaxy S8 but that won't connect/work either.
One of the design goals of the 6D was to make a more compact full frame camera. The pentaprism in a full frame camera needs to be bigger than in a crop camera, so addiing a flash on top of that would have made the camera even larger. I applaud Canon's decision. A canon 6d is much much newer. Should have significantly better low light performance. I own a 6D and really like it. As for colours.. that’s all up to you in post. The EOS 6D does not have a built in flash, nor does it have a PC sync socket for a hard wired connection to a studio flash. It does support all the standard Canon Speedlites and Speedlite accessories via the built in hot shoe of course. Flash sync speed is 1/180s. If required, a PC sync socket can be added via a hot-shoe mounted RkJ19.
